I am a software developer. I
develop software primarily to automate the process
of getting backlinks.
It is common knowledge by now that you can have an
absolute garbage web site that has a ton of
one way backlinks, and it will be high in ALL of the
Search Engine Results Pages (remember
last year I slammed an empty site to the top of
Google and Yahoo search results... and it is still
there), and you can have a
world class web site with little or no one way
backlinks, and you will be lucky to ever even get
into the
top 1000 listings of even the smallest and most
insignificant search engines.
It has just become the
landscape of our industry... Like it or not, if you
want to get your pages to the
top of the search engines, you must have one way
back links.
It sounds so easy... but it
isn't. Why? Because all 3 of the major search
engines
use intelligent algorithms to determine the quality
of your backlinks.
Most people (including self
proclaimed SEO experts) have a completely wrong
idea of how these little devils "think" when they
are determining the value of
a one way link that is pointing to your page.
The mistake that everyone
seems to make is that they are giving the search
engines more credit than they actually deserve....
But of course the search engines will not tell you
that because it is in their interests to basically
keep you, me, and the rest of the world in the dark.
In reality, the search
engines really aren't as smart as they (and the
average self professed SEO guru)
may lead you to believe.
Now, as I said earlier.. I am
a software developer, not an SEO expert. -- I just
happen to find ways to
get pages to the top of the search results... I do
not consider myself any sort of SEO guru.
Here is the reality that I
have found... The search engines are smart enough to
see the pr of the site
linking to you... and they are smart enough to know
if you have many links coming from the same
domain, sub.domain, class c IP block, and so on...
 What
they currently do is slightly discount the value the
incoming links if you have a ton coming from a tight
network of sites.-- This isn't a bad thing... you
still get indexed because of these links, but you do
not get full and in fact sometimes any pr benefit
from their link.
My solution... which seems to
work very well, has been to create software that
will capture one way backlinks from all sorts of
places, all over the world.

Now, it is very simple to get
confused on the point of "ping" in the tag and ping

bookmark pages...
BUT, if you are tagging automatically, and on a
large scale, then what happens is that your pages

coming up as popular in the social bookmark sites,
which in turn gets your pages listed using your
keywords in the main sections of the social
bookmarking site... and the bookmarking site is a
spider
magnet by it's very nature, therefore, your pages
(and backlinks) are found naturally -- Hence, the
raw power and beauty of automated mass tag and ping.
So, the end result is that
all of the social bookmarking sites users will end
up seeing a link to your
page when they look for a keyword that you have
tagged... because via mass tagging, you are going
to automatically be popular in their system... So,
this is where the quality human traffic comes into
play... Yes. Real People Who Are Actually Searching
For Your Keyword Related Topic On Their
Favorite Social Bookmarking Site.
And that link serves you also
as a genuine high quality one way back link... which
of course causes
your page to gain more weight in the eyes of the
